Here I’m sharing some of my favorite cheap and cheerful makeup tools and products that are industry must haves. Some of these items I use daily while others I can’t do bridal makeup without.

Any makeup artist will tell you that skincare prep is the most important part of a makeup application. You have to lay a great foundation for long lasting and seamless makeup. This hydrating serum isn’t oily but does help to plump up fine lines and grip makeup to the skin.
Hydrate chapped lips, cuticles, acne scars, sunburn and more with this all purpose healing ointment.
NYX Lift and Snatch EyeBrow Pen
At $12 this ink pen is a magic wand. A flick of the felt tip pen and you can create a new eyebrow hair where one didn’t exist. Add pencil or powder inbetween these new brow strokes for a softer, natural look.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponges
I don’t skimp when it comes to investing in a foundation but I will save $15 buy grabbing this makeup sponge for foundation application. Use it damp for a sheer foundation application. These reusable applicators also have a flat edge that I love for creating contour angles.
These cottons swabs have two different ends that work for cleaning messes or applying products. Use the angle of the pointed side to clean up eyeshadow and sharpen a winged eyeliner. Use the flat side to wipe away eye shadow fall out or apply lip products. I recommend all my bridal makeup clients carry some to stop happy tears from falling.
L’Oreal Paris Makeup Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara
Even top tier makeup artist know this carbon black shade is amazing for creating intense, dense lashes. For less than $10 dollars, don’t expect this mascara to last very long so pick up an extra one for back up.
This California based brand makes small batches of their high quality eye shadow palettes. At an affordable price you can snag several of their cool collaborations and color stories without feeling bad that you haven’t finished your previously owned paletes.
When all your makeup is set and done, this humectant spray gets rid of an overly powdered face. Bring back the glow to your skin with a quick calming mist.
KISS Looks So Natural Trio Lash
I love to customize false lashes for my brides using these stack of trio lashes. They have a nice curve and romantic flutter and come in different size lengths.
